Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and guide CAD Drafters, ensuring their work meets accuracy and company standards.
  • Collaborate closely with Assistant Project Managers and Project Managers.
  • Generate mapping from field crew data collector files, sketches, and reference materials.
  • Plot deeds and reference maps accurately.
  • Prepare and organize survey data for field teams.
  • Conduct post-survey data analysis and necessary conversions.
  • Perform construction layout calculations and as-built surveys.
  • Prepare grade sheets and ALTA/NSPS land title surveys.
  • Conduct topographic analysis and prepare Metes & Bounds descriptions.
  • Prepare FEMA Elevation certificates and Subdivision Plans.
  • Ensure high-quality plan presentations.
  • Adjust survey traverses as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of surveying experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to produce precise and clear plan presentations.
  • Familiarity with field survey operations and the engineering/construction sector.
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
  • Quick learner of new software and technologies.
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
  • Ability to meet project deadlines while adhering to budget constraints.
  • Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ambition to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to take and implement direction.
