Position Overview: The Systems Administrator will concentrate on Windows environments, Active Directory, Entra ID, VMWare, and Network Administration, serving as the primary technical liaison for the IT Infrastructure team. Experience in networking, management of on-premise virtual infrastructures, cloud resource administration, and site reliability engineering is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize established Windows desktop OS imaging and onboarding tools for provisioning and deploying end-user workstations.
- Enhance and maintain a robust Windows desktop and server OS patch management system.
- Optimize Microsoft 365 capabilities for a hybrid user base, including Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange Online.
- Oversee a geographically distributed, hybrid workforce, managing VoIP and teleconference platforms.
- Administer a hybrid-synced Active Directory domain, including user and device management.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to server, network, and appliance hardware.
- Monitor and address server, network, and application performance issues.
- Maintain asset inventory and endpoint management tools.
- Apply security principles to both new and existing systems.
- Utilize PowerShell or similar scripting languages for task automation and reporting.
- Plan and configure local and wide area networks, including various server types.
- Manage VMWare ESXi virtual environments.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to resolve technical and operational challenges.
- Document network, data flow, processes, and procedures.
- Support and troubleshoot network security camera systems.
- Enhance the internal ticketing system for issue reporting and project tracking.
- Be available for planned work outside of regular business hours.
- Be prepared for on-call work during emergencies or outages.
- Document processes in accordance with established standards.
- Provide technical support and training to staff.
- Lead initiatives for process improvements.
- Act as the primary technical support contact for new sites.
