Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Engineer to join our team at Michelin. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and modifying the control systems of our site in a high-paced, dynamic operational facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and modify control systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
  • Implement control configurations, develop operator interfaces, and create communication interfaces to support industrializations, plant projects, and MOC requests
  • Administer control system domains in compliance with security rules, including performing routine backups, patching, endpoint protection, managing users, and password policies
  • Manage capital projects and small projects to upgrade and support plant control systems and automation
  • Support engineering projects that require additional or modified controls
  • Develop an understanding of plant processes and identify enhancement opportunities and optimizations
  • Work with contractors and plant maintenance to implement projects and process improvements
  • Provide trouble-shooting support at every level and share responsibility for call-in support
  • Maintain network and other supporting system documentation
  • Develop and administer relevant training for engineering, maintenance, and operations users
  • Maintain open communication with engineering, quality, production, safety, and environmental protection groups to provide required support in a timely manner
