Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Lift Safety Specialist to join our team at Industrial Inspection & Analysis in Oregon. The successful candidate will perform inspections on aerial lifts, bucket trucks, cranes, and digger derricks to ensure they are in safe working order.
About the Role
This role requires the ability to conduct thorough tests to assess the structural integrity of equipment, including acoustic emission tests, magnetic particle inspections, and dielectric testing. The successful candidate will also be responsible for identifying and reporting any potential safety hazards and maintaining accurate records of inspections and test results.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular inspections on lifting equipment to identify any defects or damage.
- Conduct thorough tests to assess the structural integrity of equipment.
- Identify and report any potential safety hazards.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and test results.
Requirements
- Degree in a relevant field (e.g. mechanical engineering) or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in mechanical inspection and testing.
- Strong knowledge of lifting equipment and safety regulations.
- Able to work independently with some direction from management.
- Punctual, accountable, and provide high-quality customer service.
- Able to travel for extended periods and work varying shifts.
- Valid driver's license and pass a background check and drug screen.
