About the Role

AiLO Logistics is seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic Technician to join our team in Portland, OR. This role involves inspecting vehicles, performing basic repairs, ordering parts, and taking inventory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect vehicles using company-created checklists to ensure they are roadworthy.
  • Test vehicles before and after repair procedures to guarantee quality work.
  • Perform standard mechanical repairs, including brake pad replacements.
  • Conduct inspections on various car parts and attach car batteries to testing devices to determine functionality.
  • Order new car parts online or by phone as needed.
  • Repair petrol and diesel engines under the supervision of experienced Mechanics.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certificate or diploma in auto mechanics preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and familiarity with manual and automatic transmission types required.
  • Strong understanding of mechanics and excellent customer service skills essential.
  • Good analytical skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment necessary.
  • Physical fitness and stamina to lift heavy machinery and work in a workshop environment required.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated hourly salary for this role is between $18.00-$25.00 per hour, depending on experience. AiLO Logistics offers a range of benefits, including:
