Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Maintenance Expert to join our team at Les Schwab Tire Centers. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a range of mechanical duties, including monitoring, inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing various types of vehicles and equipment. Your primary responsibilities will include utilizing equipment manuals and schematics in the repair and maintenance of equipment, testing drive equipment during the diagnose and repair process, and performing routine maintenance and repairs on various types of vehicles and equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in intermediate mechanics, a valid driver's license, and the ability to meet requirements of DOT 3.96 to sign-off on repairs and perform DOT inspections within 12 months of hire. Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of vehicles and equipment.
  • Inspect and diagnose issues with engines, major components, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, heating and air conditioning, tires, body, brakes, and welding and fabrication.
  • Test drive equipment during the diagnose and repair process.
