Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver - Support Specialist to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing individualized support and training to individuals with complex needs, enabling them to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide training, assistance, and supervision to individuals in areas of living skills, therapeutic recreation, and daily activities.
  • Assist with daily tasks such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, shopping, cleaning, and medication administration.
  • Facilitate relationships between employers and individuals served, and support community involvement through outings and transportation.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to support therapeutic and behavioral plans.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Six months to one year of experience in the human services field
  • Valid Driver's License from state of residence
  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Successful clearance of background checks
  • Caring attitude with a dedication to assisting others
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication skills
  • Reliable, responsible attitude and compassionate approach
