Job Overview

The Office Support/Administrative role at BCforward is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As part of the Finance Department, you will provide administrative support to our team, utilizing your technical skills and communication expertise to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.

About the Role

This 3-month contract offers the possibility of extension and provides a competitive salary of $16.00 - $19.80 per hour on a W2 basis. Located in Concord, MA, this position requires a flexible schedule with 40 hours worked per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide complex and routine administrative support to the Finance Department under the supervision of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
  • Maintain and improve upon departmental efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Perform varied and responsible duties requiring initiative and independent judgment.
  • Handle a significant amount of details, each varying from the other in substance and content, requiring flexibility in approach.

Working Environment

You will work closely with officials, Town staff, and customers, utilizing your technical knowledge and communication skills to drive results. This role requires a high level of competence in utilizing technology and communicating verbally and in writing.
