Position Overview

OnPoint Medical Group is seeking dedicated Nurse Practitioners for full-time, part-time, or PRN roles within our float team. This position involves providing care across various clinics in the South Denver region, encompassing internal, family, and pediatric practices.

  • Availability required from Monday to Friday, with a willingness to rotate shifts across different locations.
  • Full-time positions available for three to four days per week.
  • PRN shifts are also offered.

OnPoint Medical Group operates as a physician-led network of proficient Primary and Urgent care providers, dedicated to enhancing access to quality healthcare in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

Our primary mission is to ensure the health and wellness of our members and their families. We achieve this by offering a comprehensive range of medical services through a unified physician group within their communities. With integrated doctors, nurses, specialists, labs, and medical records, patient care is coordinated and streamlined.

The Nurse Practitioner will be tasked with delivering direct patient care while also handling administrative responsibilities as directed by the Medical Director and in compliance with the Colorado Medical Practice Act. The Medical Director will oversee all activities within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
The following duties represent the essential functions of the role and do not encompass all peripheral tasks that may be required. Responsibilities may be adjusted as necessary.

  • Utilize sound medical judgment and adhere to ethical standards in medical practice; recognize limitations and seek consultation when necessary; stay updated on current technologies and industry standards.
  • Supervise and mentor staff technicians to foster continuous performance improvement.
  • Fulfill all clinical obligations of the Health Center's medical practice.
  • Comply with internal policies and procedures; ensure completion of all operational tasks according to departmental guidelines for proper clinical processing and documentation.
  • Regularly communicate any issues that may affect the practice to administration.
  • Adapt to new clinic environments and accept feedback from various Physician Leads.

Qualifications:
To successfully perform this role, an individual must meet the following qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited nurse practitioner program and licensure in the State of Colorado.
  • Board Certification in the relevant specialty.
  • Proficient computer skills are required; experience with EMR is preferred.
  • Basic Life Support certification.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Primary Care as a Nurse Practitioner is required.

Working Conditions:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands for various tasks, reach with hands and arms, and communicate effectively.

Occasional walking, sitting, and bending may be required. The employee may frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally more than 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $125,000 annually, depending on the number of shifts worked, employment status, and experience.
