AllHealth Network is seeking an Advanced Practice Nurse specializing in Family Care to join our dedicated team in the Acute Treatment Unit.
This position offers a competitive compensation rate of $55 - $56 per hour and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
Role Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for gathering medical histories and performing physical assessments; diagnosing, evaluating, treating, and managing both acute and chronic health conditions; ordering or conducting diagnostic evaluations and interpreting results; as well as conducting follow-up assessments, including monitoring vital signs and weights for clients admitted to the Acute Care Campus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial medical history and physical examinations for clients within 24 hours of their admission to the Acute Treatment Unit (ATU).
- Provide medical consultations to staff regarding client health issues and medication management.
- Evaluate and monitor client medications, addressing any side effects or adverse reactions.
- Establish communication with clients' outpatient providers to ensure continuity of care.
- Refer clients to outpatient services for ongoing treatment as necessary.
- Deliver high-quality medical care to clients.
- Ensure that medical services and follow-ups are completed within established timelines.
- Document interventions to meet regulatory standards and contractual obligations within your scope of practice.
- Participate in daily clinical rounds and collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team.
- Work with partner medical facilities, outpatient providers, and insurance companies to facilitate appropriate continuity of care.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of psychopharmacology, including medication interactions.
- Complete all required documentation accurately and within designated timeframes.
- Update diagnoses as necessary.
- Adhere to AllHealth Network policies and procedures.
- Complete all mandatory training as outlined in Relias Learning.
- Participate in on-call duties as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Medical Director within the scope of your role.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN/MS).
- Licensed as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (APN) in the State of Colorado.
- Unrestricted DEA registration.
Preferred Experience:
At least one year of post-master's direct clinical experience with adult psychiatric clients in a medical or behavioral health setting.
Essential Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and clinical leadership abilities.
- Effective decision-making, organizational, and communication skills.
- Medical expertise with the ability to build effective consulting relationships.
- Capability to collaborate with professionals in the medical field, mental health providers, and external agencies.
Compensation:
$55 - $56 per hour. This range represents the low and high end of the AllHealth Network salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as experience, education, training, and merit.
