Job Overview

Position Summary:

The role of a residential property evaluator encompasses a diverse set of skills. Beyond possessing technical expertise in home systems, the evaluator must exhibit strong interpersonal abilities to effectively communicate findings both verbally and through detailed written reports.

This position collaborates closely with the business owner and other team members to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction, meet revenue targets, and adhere to established standards of practice.

Additional bonus opportunities are available for candidates with a minimum of two years of experience and a current ASHI membership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough and precise evaluations of residential properties, including all crawl spaces and attic areas.
  • Articulate findings in a professional manner, utilizing proper grammar and punctuation.
  • Engage professionally with real estate agents and clients.
  • Advise real estate agents and clients on various value packages and additional services offered by the Pillar To Post franchise.
  • Maintain accurate records of all property evaluations, including photographs and detailed written accounts.
  • Exhibit strong time management skills to ensure timely arrival for inspections and completion within designated time frames.
  • Implement a proactive follow-up process to ensure timely communication with all clients.
  • Clearly communicate the pricing structure provided by the Pillar To Post franchise.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and adhere to established company procedures from initiation to completion of property evaluations.
  • Participate in marketing initiatives such as educational events, trade shows, and office outreach programs.
  • Oversee the collection of payments upon completion of property evaluations.
  • Coordinate the placement and retrieval of specialized testing equipment.
  • Be responsible for all company-issued equipment.

  • Strong organizational skills, time management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and project a positive company image.
  • Working knowledge of iPad usage.
  • Willingness to travel locally to meet current and prospective clients, necessitating a valid state driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends.
  • Successful completion of all assessments during the hiring process.
  • Completion of Pillar To Post and state-required training and testing.
