Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lawn Care Technician & Route Manager to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for managing commercial and residential properties, ensuring quality control, and maintaining professional customer relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the Maintenance Route: You will be responsible for managing commercial and residential properties, checking for quality control, and maintaining professional customer relationships.
  • Maintain Equipment: You will be responsible for leading your crew through proper maintenance, including cleaning equipment, regular oil changes, fueling, sharpening blades, inventory of equipment, and reporting any damages or unworking tools/equipment.
  • Flexible Schedule: You will have a flexible schedule with the help of our management team.
How We Measure Success
  • Attendance: You will be expected to set an example for the rest of the team in terms of attendance.
  • Understand Budgeted Time: You will be responsible for keeping jobs profitable by managing the time planned and spent at each job.
  • Project Follow-Ups: You will ensure quality control to ensure that it is rare to ever need to go back to redo a job.
  • Crew Retention: You will be responsible for maintaining a positive and teamwork-based culture.
  • Customer Retention & Sales: You will be responsible for maintaining customer relationships and have the opportunity for commission from new customer sales.
  • Communication with Management: You will be responsible for communicating with management through various apps.
Requirements
  • Prior Experience: You will need prior experience in the landscaping, lawn service, or similar service industries.
  • Operational Knowledge: You will need to know how to operate mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc., and perform preventative maintenance.
  • Driver's License: You will need a valid Ohio Driver's License and a clean driving history.
Benefits & Pay
  • Pay Range: The pay range for this position is $18 to $24, dependent on your experience as a lawncare or landscaping professional and in leading a team.
  • Commission: You will have the opportunity for commission from new sales.
  • Seasonal Bonuses: You will be eligible for seasonal bonuses based on performance.
  • Flexible Schedule: You will have a flexible schedule with no Sundays or Federal Holidays.
  • Weekly Direct-Deposit Pay: You will receive weekly direct-deposit pay.
  • Company-hosted Holiday Events: You will be eligible for company-hosted holiday events.
  • Fridge at Our Shop Location: You will have access to a fridge at our shop location providing water and snacks.
