Key Responsibilities:

  1. Execute cleaning tasks in all guest rooms and public spaces, adhering to established checklists.
  2. Ensure compliance with housekeeping standards and protocols.
  3. Promptly respond to guest requests for additional items such as cribs, cots, and extra linens.
  4. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies effectively.
  5. Work efficiently to prepare rooms for incoming guests.
  6. Notify the Front Desk of room readiness without delay.
  7. Report maintenance issues as they arise.
  8. Adhere to departmental policies and procedures consistently.
  9. Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines diligently.
  10. Collaborate with other departments to provide exceptional service to guests.
  11. Sanitize cleaning equipment at the end of each shift.
  12. Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor when interacting with guests and colleagues.
  13. Assist with laundry tasks as required.
  14. Perform additional duties as assigned, with the understanding that responsibilities may evolve.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with housekeeping standards and procedures.
  • Understanding of effective cleaning and sanitation methods.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education and Experience:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or a related field is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Capability to climb ladders and stairs.
  • Ability to navigate hallways and the hotel premises.
  • Physical ability to twist, bend, reach, and pull.
  • Capacity to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
