About the Role

Mikros Technologies LLC is seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist III to join our team of precision manufacturing experts. As a CNC Machinist III, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and programming of CNC vertical mills and lathes in our high-precision environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Setup and Operation: Set up and operate CNC vertical mills and lathes with precision and accuracy, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Programming and Setup: Program CNC machines using Mastercam and select the correct cutting tools, speeds, and feeds as necessary.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and measure parts using gage blocks, pins, calipers, and micrometers to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform daily machine maintenance, including coolant concentration and lube oil checks, and troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with engineering on product design and communicate effectively with the team to ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and precision in your work.
  • Manual Dexterity: Possess good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Communication Skills: Develop strong verbal and written communication skills for effective team collaboration.
  • Education and Experience: Hold a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent, and have at least 5 years of experience in a machinist position.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to stand for prolonged periods and lift 25 pounds consistently throughout the day.
