About the Role

Mikros Technologies LLC is seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist III to join our team in a high-precision environment. As a CNC Machinist III, you will be responsible for the machine and computer programming, setup, and operation of CNC vertical mills and lathes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Setup and Operation: Set up, inspect, and operate machine tools, sanding, lapping, and polishing machines, and lathes with care and precision to ensure desired results.
  • CNC Mill Programming: Program 3-axis mills and EDMs using Mastercam, selecting the correct cutting tools, speeds, and feeds as necessary.
  • CNC Lathe Setup: Set up CNC lathes with sub-spindles and/or live tooling.
  • Quality Control: Utilize inspection tools (e.g., gage blocks, pins, calipers, micrometers) to measure and ensure quality of work.
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Maintain daily machine maintenance (e.g., coolant concentration, lube oil) and perform troubleshooting as needed.
Requirements
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manual Dexterity: Possess good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Communication Skills: Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills for effective team collaboration.
  • Education and Experience: Hold a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent, and possess at least 5 years of experience in a machinist position.
  • Physical Demands: Stand for prolonged periods throughout the day and lift 25 pounds consistently.
