Job Summary

Carbon Felt Inc is seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Machinist - Set-Up and Operation Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and setting up a variety of CNC machines to perform assigned tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and products.
  • Perform quality checks using precision tools to ensure accurate measurements and meet production requirements.
  • Maintain machine tools with regular maintenance, including cleaning, greasing, and fluid levels.
  • Report any issues to the team leader or supervisor.
  • Operate machines in a safe manner to meet production requirements.
  • Perform basic mechanical skills using hand tools, power tools, hand trucks, and pallet jacks.
  • Work independently with limited supervision.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
  • Meet physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy items and standing for long periods.
Requirements
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to handle a full shift of being active and working in and around the building.
  • Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that require frequent bending and stooping.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
  • Ability to work in varying climate conditions (hot and cold environments).
