Position Overview: Are you looking for a rewarding opportunity that offers substantial avenues for professional advancement?

In this position, your daily responsibilities will encompass aiding in contract establishment and oversight, financial control and assessment, proposal formulation, management of New Business Acquisition Expenditures (NBAE), and essential staffing to support the Engineering & Technology division.

The Engineering and Technology Finance sector is distinctive as we engage with various funding sources and collaborate closely with our Engineers and technical teams.

You will conduct financial evaluations, implement performance management budgeting, and forecasting tasks, which include variance analysis, trend identification, workforce planning metrics, risk and opportunity evaluation, and the creation of mitigation strategies.

By consolidating data from multiple financial systems, processes, and functions, you will translate this information into actionable business solution recommendations.

It is essential to ensure that costs are allocated in accordance with established protocols. You will develop and present actionable insights to key stakeholders to facilitate informed financial and operational decisions. Additionally, you will provide subject matter expertise in proposal development, cost estimation, and negotiations as necessary.


Basic Qualifications:

- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
- Experience in budget planning and performance analysis
- Strong analytical and presentation skills
- Capability to drive results, self-motivated, process-oriented, and structured problem solver
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Desired Skills:

- Background in budgeting, estimating, workforce planning, and development and production contracts is preferred


A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a related field, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 3 years of professional experience; or 1 year of professional experience with a related Master’s degree.

Considered experienced, yet still a learner.

Security Clearance Statement: This role necessitates a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Remote Telework:

The selected candidate will have a hybrid work schedule, splitting time between remote work and a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin offers a variety of flexible work schedules to accommodate our employees. These schedules may range from standard 40 hours over a five-day work week to condensed formats that provide additional time away from the office, in addition to our Paid Time Off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour days, with 3 days off per week.
