About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled finance professional to support the Starburst Program as a Senior Financial Analyst. This role will play a critical part in driving the Starburst financial success through insightful financial analysis, strong management, and strategic recommendations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial support to successfully satisfy programmatic and financial organization objectives for programs
  • Develop program Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) for earned value / project management purposes
  • Perform analysis of program cost and schedule performance, identifying trends, and providing information to Project Leadership Team (PLT) and corrective action implementation
  • Provide cost, schedule, funding monitoring and analysis support to the Program team and management
  • Monitor costs and manpower labor on a weekly basis to ensure charges are correct and are within scope
  • Support proposal & gate reviews, prepare business cases & return on investments analysis as needed
  • Ownership, consolidation, analysis of the programs' financial forecasts & financial presentations to leadership
  • Provide inputs for monthly forecast for orders, sales, profit, & cash flow, & perform the same effort for Annual Operating Plan (AOP) & Strategic Financial Plan (SFP)
  • Identify/quantify R&Os to ensure that the team & management are informed of the impact
Requirements
  • Current or prior Earned Value Management experience
  • Accounting and/or finance experience working with different government contract types and working knowledge of FAR/DFARS
  • Proficiency with MS Office products, advanced proficiency with Excel
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance is required
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience providing financial analytics and business support for contract activities
  • Detailed understanding of key financial metrics
  • Experience using SAP, APEX EV, PMX, BW, EDIT+
