Position Overview:
The Senior Financial Analyst specializing in Finance ERP plays a pivotal role in enhancing the effectiveness of accounting, finance, and payroll processes through advanced system methodologies. This position is responsible for the design, implementation, training, evaluation, testing, and ongoing maintenance of financial software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and assess company functions and processes to optimize business applications for better resource utilization.
- Document requirements, define project scope, and develop systems aligned with overall business strategies.
- Oversee team members involved in software projects, ensuring integrity and efficiency.
- Manage multiple projects, ensuring they meet established outcomes within the defined parameters.
- Conduct thorough studies of existing systems to enhance productivity and quality.
- Maintain project documentation throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Effectively manage risks and project planning, escalating issues as necessary.
- Provide day-to-day support for end users, troubleshooting data issues and enhancing user experience.
- Develop and maintain financial and payroll reports, assisting with the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Workday Finance and familiarity with ERP environments.
- Experience in financial reporting, month-end, and year-end close procedures.
- Preferred: Master's degree, CPA certification, and experience with Workday Finance implementation.
