About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record of success selling energy efficiency and capital projects for commercial buildings. As an Account Executive at Guardian Energy Management Solutions, you will be responsible for executing the sales process and developing a positive ongoing relationship with our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify prospects and determine customer needs to develop sales strategies that meet those objectives.
  • Develop and maintain an ongoing relationship with customers to ensure that Guardian is meeting their requirements and ensuring long-term customer loyalty.
  • Maintain an active proposal backlog and conduct building surveys to support the development of estimates.
  • Work with minimal supervision to achieve sales plan objectives.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to persuade and close sales.
  • Proven track record of quota attainment.
  • Excellent initiative and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Able to work with coworkers and clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence the market at key levels.
  • Ability to handle a variety of situations encountered during the sales process.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of ten years of progressive field sales experience at the C-level.
  • Able to use conventional business tools including Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule.
  • Valid driver's license, available for local travel.
