Architectural Design Intern Role

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Architecture Design team as an Architectural Design Intern. In this role, you will work closely with our project team to develop 2D and 3D presentations, early design studies, and as-built floor plans.

You will also have the opportunity to interpret and translate design intent into technical documents, coordinate with managers, and assemble design/construction standard details.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop site plans, floor plans, and exteriors for project team review.
  • Field measure existing building spaces to prepare as-built floor plans.
  • Translate design intent into technical documents.
  • Coordinate with managers to determine graphically represented building plans.
  • Assemble design/construction standard details to develop project booklets.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • CURRENTLY STUDYING: Majoring in Drafting, Architecture, Interior Design or related field.
  • REQUIRED SKILLS: Proficiency in REVIT design software.
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Exposure to commercial or multi-family apartment project design.
  • FUNDAMENTAL SKILLS: Strong written and oral communication skills, self-motivation, deadline-driven, highly organized, flexible, adaptable, effective listener, and team player.
Estimated Salary

$15.00-$16.00/hour based on experience.
