Company Overview
Intrinsic Development is a full-service real estate development company specializing in upscale multi-family and commercial mixed-use developments. With over 3.5 million square feet of projects built, we are expanding into Lee's Summit, Missouri, where our new corporate office will be located. Our 260+ acre mixed-use development features approximately 2,900 luxury multi-family units, along with over 660,000 square feet of retail, office, entertainment, hospitality space, and other related commercial uses.

Salary
$15-$16/hour based on experience.

Job Description
We seek a creative, passionate intern to gain experience within the Architecture Design field. Tasks include concept planning, rendering preparation, and working with the project team throughout the design and construction process.

Responsibilities
  • Develop 2D and 3D presentations and early design studies of site plans, floor plans, and exteriors for project team review.
  • Field measure existing building spaces to prepare as-built floor plans.
  • Interpret and translate design intent into technical documents.
  • Coordinate with manager architectural, structural, electrical, and mechanical designs to determine graphically represented building plans.
  • Assemble design/construction standard details with direction from manager to develop project booklets.

Qualifications
  • Currently studying Drafting, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
  • Proficient in design software including REVIT and AutoCAD.
  • PREFERRED: Exposure to commercial or multi-family apartment project design.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, deadline-driven, and highly organized.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing situations.
  • Effective listener with ability to understand needs of team members at all levels.
  • Interact effectively with project team, client, and reviewing authorities.
