Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct production staff to ensure high-quality products and efficient production processes.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime.
  • Implement process improvements and optimize production workflows.
  • Develop and maintain production schedules and ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Monitor and report on production metrics, including quality, safety, and productivity.
  • Collaborate with the production planning team to optimize production planning and scheduling.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in food manufacturing, with commercial baking experience preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing teams of 15 or more people.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Physical ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Working Conditions

The Shift Operations Manager will work in a fast-paced production environment with exposure to extreme temperatures, dust, and food allergens. Personal protective equipment is available upon request.

This is a full-time position that requires a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The successful candidate will be able to thrive in a dynamic and cross-functional environment.
