Job Overview

As a Financial Analysis and Planning Specialist at RRK Company, you will report directly to the Director of Financial and Planning Analysis. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the formulation of the operating and financial strategies essential for realizing the management's strategic objectives.

Your role will also involve evaluating potential stakeholders and private equity collaborators as part of a comprehensive development initiative.

You will be tasked with generating reports, forecasts, and variance analyses that leverage data to guide management in enhancing performance, mitigating risks, and seizing new opportunities both internally and externally.


Key Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years in business finance or a related field.
  • MBA or CFA credentials are preferred.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Statistics is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience in a quantitatively-focused role is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills are essential.
  • Self-motivated with exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in defining and resolving issues, gathering data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
  • Exhibit a strong personal initiative and a commitment to excel in a dynamic, entrepreneurial setting.
  • Ability to articulate thoughts clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
  • Consistently display a high level of professionalism and performance.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Expertise in Excel and experience with financial modeling.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for site evaluations.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
  • Analyze financial data and develop financial models to support decision-making.
  • Report on corporate financial performance and prepare for leadership reviews.
  • Examine historical results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and propose improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with the accounting team to ensure precise financial reporting.
  • Assess financial performance by comparing actual results with planned forecasts.
  • Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing relevant policies.
  • Provide insights on trends and forecasts, recommending actions for optimization.
  • Analyze and interpret data to recommend actions; study proposed changes in methods and materials.
  • Identify and implement process enhancements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards.
  • Boost productivity through the development of automated reporting and forecasting tools.
  • Conduct market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comparisons.
  • Maintain a robust foundation in financial analysis by creating forecasts and models.
