Position Overview:

As a Process Lead within the Packaging Department of Brewery Operations, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the performance of a designated area, collaborating closely with brewery management. Your focus will be on enhancing the operational team's capabilities and technical knowledge regarding process control through meticulous data collection and loss analysis.

Your responsibilities will include managing the centerline, overseeing changeovers, and taking ownership of the production lines while facilitating Line Loss Analysis through comprehensive Loss Trees relevant to your area of oversight. You will ensure the integrity of data systems and identify loss elimination opportunities to achieve overall line performance that meets business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Centerline Management System for the assigned lines/department, including data analysis, target management, documentation standards, health checks, and training/coaching of team members to enhance performance.
  • Develop Team Capability - provide training and coaching on problem-solving tools and techniques, changeovers, and centerline execution, while leading coaching efforts during planned operational pauses.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution - identify the top three production stops and their root causes during Daily Direction Setting (DDS) meetings, review changeovers, and assign follow-up actions for the daily plan and subsequent shifts.
  • Responsible for escalating systemic and strategic issues along with providing recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a high-speed, high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated success in driving World Class Supply Initiatives to meet challenging objectives.
  • Ability to tackle challenges effectively, managing complex projects swiftly while understanding business priorities.
  • Committed to delivering results with a strong track record of achievement.
  • Motivated leader capable of inspiring others, respecting commitments, and achieving optimal results through team development.
  • A bachelor's degree in Operations, Engineering, Science, or Business, or equivalent experience (4+ years) in operations.
  • Previous coaching experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably focused on packaging optimization of consumer goods.
