The Cash Management and Collections Supervisor is tasked with overseeing the management of cash, collections, and financial reporting related to sponsored funds. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with federal drawdown requirements and maintaining accurate records of cash transactions received from sponsors. The supervisor will ensure that all cash reporting aligns with federal sponsor expectations and that all financial documentation is meticulously maintained within the University's Financial System.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the federal letters of credit drawdown process to ensure adherence to sponsored award terms and applicable regulations.
- Monitor accounts receivable for sponsored projects, ensuring the complete collection of outstanding funds to support precise financial reporting.
- Serve as a key resource for financial analysts and campus finance personnel, providing insights on cash receipts and operational responsibilities.
- Assist in the enforcement of policies and achievement of customer service objectives.
- Engage in special projects as assigned by senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; preference for candidates with an MBA.
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in grants and contracts management.
- Familiarity with Letter of Credit processes and financial reporting.
- Proven ability to lead and manage staff effectively.
- Strong proficiency in computerized financial systems and software.
- In-depth understanding of research administration and compliance processes.
- Knowledge of OMB Uniform Guidance and federal agency accounting requirements.
- Expertise in complex accounting systems.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Work Mode: Hybrid
Compensation: $54,000 - $100,493.33
