The Role Overview:

As a Process Lead within the Packaging Department of Brewery Operations, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the performance of your designated area. Collaborating closely with brewery management, you will focus on developing the operational team's capabilities and their technical expertise in process control through systematic data collection and loss analysis.

Your responsibilities will include overseeing the centerline management, facilitating changeovers, and owning the line(s) while conducting thorough Line Loss Analysis using Loss Trees specific to your area. You will ensure the integrity of data systems and identify loss elimination opportunities to achieve overall line performance that aligns with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Centerline Management System for the assigned line(s)/department, encompassing all data analysis, target management, documentation standards, health checks, and training/coaching of site personnel.
  • Enhance Team Capability - provide training and coaching on problem-solving tools and techniques, changeovers, and centerline execution, particularly during planned stops.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution - identify the top three stoppages and their root causes during Daily Direction Setting (DDS) meetings, review changeovers, and assign follow-up actions for the daily plan and subsequent shifts.
  • Responsible for escalating systemic and strategic issues along with actionable recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in a high-speed, high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving World Class Supply Initiatives to meet challenging objectives.
  • Adept at tackling challenges, executing complex projects swiftly while understanding business priorities, and responding with urgency to market events and trends.
  • Results-oriented with a strong history of delivering outcomes.
  • A motivated leader capable of inspiring others, respecting commitments, and achieving optimal results through team development.
  • A bachelor's degree in Operations, Engineering, Science, or Business, or equivalent experience (4+ years) in operations.
  • Previous coaching experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in packaging optimization of consumer goods.
