Role Summary
The Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering exceptional, patient-focused care. Collaborating with medical professionals, the RN provides both pre-operative and post-operative nursing services while advocating for patients to ensure an outstanding healthcare experience.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

  • Exhibit knowledge of human growth and development, treatment assessments, and care tailored to the patient population.
  • Promote customer service initiatives aligned with Skyline Medical Center's values.
  • Document all aspects of patient care accurately.
  • Utilize the Nursing Process to provide individualized care.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in technical skills and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with National Patient Safety Goals.
  • Assess patient conditions during admissions and throughout shifts, promptly reporting any changes.
  • Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment pertinent to cardiac and medical-surgical care.

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must possess:

  • A current Registered Nurse license in Tennessee or a compact state.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • An Associate's Degree in Nursing; a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred.
