We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Neuroscience Surgical Nursing Specialist at TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center, a proud member of HCA Healthcare. Our facility is committed to delivering exceptional patient care, and we are in search of dedicated professionals to enhance our compassionate team. As a Registered Nurse with expertise in neuro medical-surgical nursing, you will play a vital role in our mission.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with the Registered Nurse Practice Act.
- Employ therapeutic communication techniques while ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
- Develop personalized patient care plans through a collaborative interdisciplinary approach.
- Engage in performance improvement initiatives that align with the hospital's mission and vision.
- Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for colleagues in a charge nurse capacity.
- Evaluate patient care requirements, execute physician orders, administer medications, and provide education to patients and their families.
- Registered Nurse with a degree from an accredited nursing program.
- Active Licensure with the Tennessee Board of Nursing.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications within six months of employment.
- Preferred: Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience.
