Role Responsibilities
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will deliver high-quality, patient-focused care by performing essential nursing tasks. Collaborating with Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals, you will ensure that patients receive individualized care aligned with established standards.
Your Key Responsibilities Include:
- Administering direct care to patients as directed by the supervising physician or RN.
- Assisting in medical procedures and monitoring patient conditions.
- Conducting laboratory tests and procedures within your scope of practice, ensuring competency.
- Documenting care provided in patient records accurately and promptly.
- Serving as a resource for staff, students, and volunteers to enhance patient care quality.
Qualifications Required:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- IV Certification must be obtained within 60 months of employment.
