Position Overview

BlueHalo is on the lookout for experienced Digital Signal Processing (DSP) engineers to engage in innovative and challenging projects.

The ideal candidates will possess a strong background in MATLAB System Generator for DSP with HDL Coder, demonstrating proficiency in all phases from initial design through modeling, simulation, and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the design, development, and execution of advanced digital signal processing technologies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance DSP designs focusing on performance, cost-efficiency, and manufacturability.
- Identify and address technical risks associated with DSP systems.
- Model, simulate, and implement intricate DSP concepts and techniques that support next-generation digital beamformed phased array antennas.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of practical experience in digital signal processing engineering.
- Proven experience in DSP design, analysis, and simulation.
- Familiarity with configuring and utilizing Xilinx hardware primitives (DSP slices) and DSP component tools, including Xilinx FIR and DDS compilers for effective DSP design realization.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- An innovative mindset with a keen interest in exploring new DSP technologies and methodologies.
- Experience with MATLAB System Generator for DSP with HDL coder integrated on Xilinx RFSoC FPGA is advantageous.
