**About the Role**

We are seeking a skilled Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our dynamic team at Highland Village Pet Hospital. As an RVT, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and supporting our veterinarians in delivering high-quality medical services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care: Provide direct care to animals, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring vital signs.
  • Diagnostic Assistance: Assist with diagnostic imaging, laboratory tests, and other diagnostic procedures. Collect and prepare samples for analysis
  • Surgical Support: Prepare animals for surgery, assist during surgical procedures, and provide post-operative care.
  • Client Communication: Educate pet owners on health, nutrition, and preventive care. Address client questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, including patient history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Requirements:
  • Licensure and Certification: Must be a licensed Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in the state of [Your State]. Graduation from an accredited veterinary technology program is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or hospital setting required.
