Veterinary Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our dynamic team at Highland Village Pet Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:- Patient Care: Provide direct care to animals, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring vital signs.
- Diagnostic Assistance: Assist with diagnostic imaging, laboratory tests, and other diagnostic procedures. Collect and prepare samples for analysis.
- Surgical Support: Prepare animals for surgery, assist during surgical procedures, and provide post-operative care.
- Client Communication: Educate pet owners on health, nutrition, and preventive care. Address client questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, including patient history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Medical Procedures: Perform a range of medical procedures including catheter placement, IV fluid administration, and wound care.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with veterinarians, fellow RVTs, and support staff to ensure the highest standard of care for our patients.
Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year
Requirements: Must be a licensed Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in the state of [Your State]. Graduation from an accredited veterinary technology program is required. Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or hospital setting is necessary.
