We are currently seeking a Clinical Trial Patient Engagement Manager. This pivotal role acts as a primary liaison across various departments, overseeing the formulation, execution, and assessment of patient engagement strategies for designated projects and programs. The Manager ensures that study requirements and patient demographics are effectively supported through robust engagement strategies, which include monitoring interventions and providing site assistance. Furthermore, this position entails managing client communications and reporting, addressing issues as they arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of patient engagement strategies within the team.
  • Maintain close communication with team members, including Recruiters, Project Managers, and Clinical Team Managers.
  • Collaborate with clinical and project management teams to achieve objectives.
  • Provide training to team members on engagement strategies and best practices.
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for patient engagement topics during sponsor updates and communications.
  • Generate tracking metrics and reports for enrollment progress, including pre-screening, screening, and enrollment updates.
  • Design and oversee study-specific patient engagement strategies, recommending modifications as necessary.
  • Distribute call lists to team members, monitor their progress and results, and maintain metrics on call list performance.
  • Work with site teams and the Director of Recruitment to create and implement comprehensive study engagement plans.
  • Recruit for multiple studies by reaching out to referrals generated through marketing and outreach efforts.
  • Identify potential patients from our internal database who may qualify for new trials.
  • Assist in determining studies for which patients may qualify and schedule them for initial visits at our facilities.
  • Maintain an updated tracker with all scheduled patients and visit outcomes.
  • Follow up with patients as needed.
  • Thoroughly understand all assigned studies by reviewing protocols, resource materials, and attending training sessions.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Clinical research experience with a comprehensive understanding of the industry, including medical and therapeutic areas, phases, and terminology.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills (listening, oral, written), with proficiency in English.
  • Ability to persuade and influence others effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility, and adaptability, with experience leading and coordinating multifunctional project teams.
  • Understanding of multifunctional project management principles (cost, time, quality).
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and a quality-focused approach.
  • Coaching and mentoring capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask under competitive deadlines. Proficient in automated systems and applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams, etc.).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent formal academic/vocational qualification.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience will be considered.
