The Law Offices of Kanner & Pintaluga P.A., a progressive and expanding personal injury and property damage legal practice, is in search of a dedicated and enthusiastic Trial Litigation Specialist to become part of our esteemed team.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Our firm is committed to representing clients in various legal matters, including automobile incidents, premises liability, medical negligence, wrongful death claims, nursing home mistreatment, and property damage across the state.

As a member of our proactive Litigation Team, you will collaborate with fellow Trial Attorneys and support personnel to advocate for our clients from the pre-suit phase through to resolution, whether through settlement or trial. This role involves preparing for and conducting numerous jury trials annually.

Each Litigation Specialist manages a caseload of approximately 35-40 cases, working closely with at least one paralegal and a team of legal assistants to ensure effective case management and trial preparation.

While marketing for new cases is not a requirement, you are encouraged to do so, and a generous referral fee will be provided for any cases you bring to the firm.

At Kanner & Pintaluga, you can concentrate on excelling as a litigator without the burden of managing the business aspects of a law firm. We have established a structured support system designed to enhance the work environment and increase efficiency among our attorneys and staff. We also prioritize professional development by regularly sending our Trial Attorneys to workshops and seminars to refine their litigation skills. Importantly, our Litigation Team focuses exclusively on litigation matters, relieving Trial Attorneys from handling pre-litigation cases.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Trial Attorneys receive a competitive base salary, reflective of their experience, along with a guaranteed bonus structure based on a percentage of the fees generated. Our growing caseload presents an opportunity for the right candidate to thrive in a supportive and collaborative environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Full-time commitment
  • Active member of the Florida Bar in good standing
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury litigation
  • Proven trial experience, including First Chair responsibilities
  • General litigation expertise
  • Experience with motion practice and depositions
  • Strong discovery practice background
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus
  • Commitment to professionalism and client service
  • Familiarity with SmartAdvocate case management software is advantageous
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to manage a substantial workload in a dynamic environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Team-oriented mindset
