Psychometric Rater

Job Summary: Charter Research is seeking a skilled Psychometric Rater to administer and interpret quantitative and qualitative tests for neurological and psychological variables related to various diseases.
Responsibilities:
* Meet with patients, conduct psychometric rating scales, and calculate results to determine protocol eligibility.
* Ensure excellent communication with clinical staff, sponsors, and patients regarding ratings issues.
* Maintain source documentation and complete monitor and sponsor queries in a timely manner.
* Calmly manage conversations with upset or frustrated patients during the rating process.
* Ensure patient safety by responding to potential harm identified through evaluations.
* Maintain consistency in ratings performance and identify potential problems or inconsistencies.
* Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
* Master's degree (or PhD) in psychology, mental health, counseling, or related field.
* Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) preferred.
* One year of experience in psychometry or patient assessments.
* Knowledge of various rating scales, such as ADAS-Cog, ADCS-ADL, CDR, CGI, C-SSRS, FAQ, FCSRT, GDS, MDS-UPDRS, MoCA, MMSE, RAVLT, RBANS, SLUMS, WAIS-IV, and WOMAC.
Working Conditions:
* Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
* Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
