Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychometric Rater to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering and interpreting quantitative and qualitative tests to measure neurological and psychological variables related to various diseases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and interpret psychometric rating scales for clinical trials, ensuring accuracy and consistency in results.
  • Communicate effectively with clinical staff, study sponsors, and patients to perform ratings and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Maintain accurate source documentation and complete monitor and sponsor queries in a timely manner.
  • Ensure patient safety by responding appropriately to any potential for harm to self or others identified through evaluations.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to maintain consistency in ratings and identify potential problems or inconsistencies.

Requirements

  • Master's degree (or PhD) in psychology, mental health, counseling, or a related field.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well within a team and maintain confidentiality.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) strongly preferred.
  • Rater Qualification Certificate preferred.
  • Experience performing a variety of rating scales, such as the ADAS-Cog, ADCS-ADL, CDR, CGI, C-SSRS, FAQ, FCSRT, GDS, MDS-UPDRS, MoCA, MMSE, RAVLT, RBANS, SLUMS, WAIS-IV, and WOMAC.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
