Position Title: Lead Financial Strategist

Role Summary:

Specialty Dental Brands is in search of a highly motivated Lead Financial Strategist to play a pivotal role within its enterprise finance team. This individual should have a strong inclination towards process improvement and innovation in a fast-paced startup culture.

This role will facilitate the financial and business planning efforts across various divisions within the organization, engaging in hands-on forecasting, budgeting, analysis, data management, and reporting.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of the monthly operational review package and communicate findings to practice leaders.
  • Enhance financial understanding among practice-level managers and healthcare providers.
  • Monitor, report, and analyze financial metrics, identifying discrepancies in practice performance.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support decision-making, collaborating with various departments across the organization.
  • Contribute to project milestones and manage personal workload to meet project deadlines.
  • Work closely with data providers and technology teams to ensure the accuracy, automation, and timeliness of critical decision-making data.
  • Apply best practices for data extraction and manipulation effectively.

Qualifications:

Required Minimum Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in financial analysis.
  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or accounting.
  • Exceptional analytical and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements.
  • Ability to manage change positively and handle multiple priorities in response to evolving demands.
  • Experience with data mining and reporting tools (SQL, Excel, PowerBI).
  • Knowledge of GAAP and comprehensive understanding of general accrual and cost accounting.
  • Highly motivated and detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
