As a Patient Care Coordinator at Nielsen Eye Center, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient experiences while supporting our administrative team. You will also be responsible for relaying medical and insurance updates, confirming medical charts are complete, and answering calls in a timely and professional manner.
Essential Skills and Abilities:
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and multitasking individual with prior experience in a medical administrative role. You must be able to work at all Nielsen Eye locations, have reliable transportation, and possess typing proficiency. Additionally, you should have prior experience in a customer-facing environment, adaptability in a fast-paced medical atmosphere, and the ability to handle and resolve conflicts in a professional and tactful manner. If you are a team player with excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply for this role.
Work Environment:
This position requires local travel to all four of our offices. Our office hours may vary, but our current schedule is as follows: Monday and Friday, 7:30 am - 3:30 pm; Tuesday, 10:00 am - 6:30 pm; Wednesday and Thursday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm; and Saturday (occasionally), 8:00 am - 12:00 pm.
