Job Summary

The Stevenson University Athletic Department is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Athletic Trainer to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our student-athletes, working closely with our Co-Head Athletic Trainers and Team Physicians to ensure the highest level of health and wellness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries incurred by student-athletes
  • Manage athletic training room functions, including inventory and budget management
  • Supervise student workers and athletic training student interns
  • Administer proper first aid to student-athletes on the field and in the athletic training room
  • Travel with intercollegiate athletic teams as needed
  • Assist with organizational and administrative duties, including medical record keeping and handling secondary insurance claims
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in athletic training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • NATA-BOC Certification and eligibility for Maryland State license
  • Valid driver's license with good driving record
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications and computer use
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends, and travel with teams as needed
Working Conditions

This is a part-time, on-call position that requires flexibility and adaptability. The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
