Job Summary

The Vice President for Finance and Administration is a key member of the senior leadership team, responsible for providing strategic financial leadership and oversight to the institution. This role requires a seasoned executive with a strong background in financial management, budgeting, and operations.

Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Provide executive-level leadership and oversight to the finance and administration functions, including budgeting, accounting, procurement, and human resources.
  • Budget and Accounting: Develop and manage the institution's annual budget, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Procurement: Oversee the procurement process, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and best practices.
  • Human Resources: Provide leadership and oversight to the human resources function, including talent acquisition, recruitment, and employee relations.
  • Auxiliary Operations: Provide leadership and oversight to the auxiliary operations, including the bookstore and food services.
  • Facilities Operations: Provide leadership and oversight to the facilities operations, including maintenance, repairs, and capital projects.
  • Public Safety: Provide leadership and oversight to the public safety function, including emergency planning and management.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree: A master's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in business, finance, and/or accounting management, with direct operational oversight of multiple units.
  • Certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or other relevant certifications are preferred.
