As a Controller, you will be an integral part of our finance team, working closely with our Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (SVP & CFO) to drive financial success and support our organization's strategic goals.

Job Summary

The Controller will be responsible for leading all accounting and financial activities, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and regulatory compliance. You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals, develop and implement financial processes and procedures, and contribute to the growth and success of USA Lacrosse.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all accounting and financial activities, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and implement financial processes and procedures to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Work closely with the SVP & CFO to evaluate financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategic plans to drive financial success.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Manage and maintain financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Oversee regulatory compliance, including tax returns, audits, and other financial reporting requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in accounting and finance, including experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with computerized accounting systems and financial software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Travel Requirements
