Job Title: Inside Sales Manager

Ulbrich Stainless Steels & Special Metals, Inc. is seeking an experienced Inside Sales Manager to oversee the complete range of inside sales activities within our Illinois location.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise staff and activities of the inside sales department to ensure that our monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals are achieved.
  • Manage assigned major customer accounts and develop proactive sales approaches to drive new product sales and growth.
  • Coordinate various customer service activities with outside sales representatives, production, accounting, order layout, and scheduling.
  • Build intelligence on products and markets, identify sales opportunities, and work closely with all departments to ensure customer requirements and expectations are conveyed effectively throughout the organization.
  • Review inquiries, sales reports, and new orders relevant to Division's sales performance and approve special prices within guidelines of competitive situations.
  • Conduct weekly sales meetings and participate in committees to discuss company sales performance and planning matters.
  • Responsible for interviewing and recommending the hiring of employees for the department, training and instructing individuals, and assigning and reviewing work.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in business or related field (technical degree/training would be a plus).
  • Previous inside sales-outside sales experience preferred along with a minimum of 3 years of supervisory responsibility.
  • Results-oriented sales professional with excellent communication, customer service, negotiation, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to effectively supervise and motivate staff to achieve desired performance and proficiency with the MS office suite products.
