Job Summary

As the Facility Operations Manager at Life Time Fitness, you will oversee the Operations department, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and exceptional member experiences. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and develop a team of up to 40 staff members, while maintaining a focus on budget management, staffing, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit and develop a high-performing Ops team, providing ongoing training and coaching to ensure exceptional member experiences.
  • Manage the department's budget, ensuring labor costs are within guidelines and submitting regular financial reports to the General Manager.
  • Oversee maintenance and repair projects, collaborating with various departments to ensure timely completion.
  • Coach and manage staff to maintain clean and welcoming facilities, including locker rooms, fitness floors, and common areas.
  • Complete payroll and ensure labor costs align with budgetary guidelines.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree in business, hospitality, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of management experience, with a focus on building operations.
  • CPR/AED certification required within 30 days of hire; Certified Pool Operator license (CPO) within 6 months of hire.
  • Ability to lift over 20 lbs and work in a stationary position for prolonged periods.
