Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Nursing Director for Critical Care Services to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assuring service development, personnel management, resource allocation, and management controls to ensure consistent high-quality patient care within patient care areas. The Director will collaborate with the Chief Nursing Officer in setting, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating standards of care and practice.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement service development plans to improve patient care and outcomes
  • Manage personnel and resources to ensure efficient and effective delivery of care
  • Collaborate with the CNO to set and evaluate standards of care and practice
  • Participate in hospital and medical committees to promote collaborative relationships among Nursing Services, the medical staff, and other departments
  • Assume responsibility in the absence of the CNO
Requirements
  • Five years of progressive management experience in a critical care setting
  • Critical care experience required
  • Knowledge of human resource management, program development, fiscal management skills, and familiarity with regulatory and accrediting agency standards preferred
