Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Director to lead our Critical Care Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring consistent high-quality patient care within our patient care areas, collaborating with the Chief Nursing Officer to set, implement, monitor and evaluate standards of care and practice, and promoting collaborative relationships among Nursing Services, the medical staff and other departments.
Responsibilities- Assure service development, personnel management, resource allocation and management controls to ensure consistent high-quality patient care within patient care areas.
- Collaborate with the CNO to set, implement, monitor and evaluate standards of care and practice.
- Participate on assigned hospital and medical committees.
- Promote collaborative relationships among Nursing Services, the medical staff and other departments.
- Demonstrate Service Excellence at all times.
- Assume responsibility in the absence of the CNO.
- Five years progressive management experience, required.
- Critical care experience, required.
- Knowledge of human resource management, program development, fiscal management skills, and familiarity with regulatory and accrediting agency standards preferred.
