Job SummaryThe Nursing Director for Critical Care Services will be responsible for assuring service development, personnel management, resource allocation, and management controls to ensure consistent high-quality patient care within patient care areas. The Director will collaborate with the Chief Nursing Officer in setting, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating standards of care and practice, participate on assigned hospital and medical committees, and promote collaborative relationships among Nursing Services, the medical staff, and other departments.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement critical care services to meet the needs of patients and families
- Collaborate with the CNO to set and evaluate standards of care and practice
- Participate on hospital and medical committees to promote collaborative relationships
- Assume responsibility in the absence of the CNO
- Other duties as assigned
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Current RN licensure in Florida
- BSN, required
- MSN, preferred
- Current BLS through American Heart Association
- Current ACLS through American Heart Association
