Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Director to lead our Critical Care Services team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing, human resource management, and program development.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring consistent high-quality patient care within our patient care areas, collaborating with the Chief Nursing Officer to set and implement standards of care and practice, and promoting collaborative relationships among Nursing Services, the medical staff, and other departments.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage the Critical Care Services team, including the ICU, PCU, and CVICU
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care
- Collaborate with the CNO to set and implement standards of care and practice
- Participate in hospital and medical committees to promote collaborative relationships among Nursing Services, the medical staff, and other departments
- Recruit, select, and develop nursing staff to ensure a skilled and competent team
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Minimum 5 years of experience in critical care nursing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Knowledge of human resource management, program development, and fiscal management skills
- Familiarity with regulatory and accrediting agency standards
