Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Director for Critical Care Services to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring consistent high-quality patient care within patient care areas, collaborating with the Chief Nursing Officer to set and implement standards of care and practice, and promoting collaborative relationships among Nursing Services, the medical staff, and other departments.
Key Responsibilities- Assure service development, personnel management, resource allocation, and management controls to ensure consistent high-quality patient care
- Collaborate with the CNO to set, implement, monitor, and evaluate standards of care and practice
- Participate on assigned hospital and medical committees
- Promote collaborative relationships among Nursing Services, the medical staff, and other departments
- Five years progressive management experience, required
- Critical care experience, required
- Knowledge of human resource management, program development, fiscal management skills, and familiarity with regulatory and accrediting agency standards preferred
