Position Summary:

The Maintenance Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of our residential buildings. This position involves a variety of responsibilities including refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, heating, and air conditioning maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to residents' service requests with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Maintain organization and focus while performing tasks, even in high-pressure situations.
  • Communicate effectively with residents and team members, especially during challenging interactions.
  • Work independently while also collaborating with colleagues across departments.
  • Analyze and interpret reports and data related to building operations.
  • Follow all safety protocols and adhere to company policies.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficiency in air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
  • Experience in carpentry and finish work.

Daily Duties:

  • Perform maintenance tasks in public areas, including plumbing repairs and electrical work.
  • Monitor fire alarm and life safety systems, ensuring readiness for emergencies.
  • Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are clean and properly stored.
  • Respond to emergencies promptly, taking necessary actions to safeguard residents and property.
  • Document daily activities and maintenance issues for effective communication with team members.

Qualifications:

  • General engineering experience is preferred.
  • Technical training or certifications in HVAC and plumbing are advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality service.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
